I have AVG anti-virus, Spybot and Malware Bytes installed, can Microsoft Essentials replace all these? Does the Essentials program use alot of system resources?

That is probably true because I'll voice full well I have never used AVG Avast because I always use and always am at peace.
Avast takes very little resources, and for that it is still a program in DOS what Scans and makes no problems.
AVG has even been killed XP.
It is also better than Norton and others there is my opinion.
Avast is really one class must be set only once correctly and the database is updated 3 times a day.
